Cadets

The Cadet program aims to introduce 15 to 17 year old males and females to continue with patrol duties and to encourage them to remain in the SLSC movement. They can complete Leadership Courses and become Facilitators for other programs run by SLSCC.

The cadets continue to assist in all rescue operations and perform any patrol duty under the guidance of the patrol captain or senior member. They are not expected to perform alone. Once Cadets turn 15, they can complete their Bronze Medallion training.

These age groups are also able to participate in Duke of Edinburgh Award.
